I noticed that the board games were getting a bit messy and the boxes they are in weren't holding the games.
I used to have all the board games on a shelf in my linen closet, but I thought now the kids are getting older and maybe seeing the games would make us all play them more.
I moved them into a spot in my cube storage shelf in the craft area.
So I pulled the games out.
Sorted the pieces into the right box.
Then worked out what boxes were beyond help and what boxes I could salvage.
Monopoly games, twister and a spelling game were the only games that stayed in the original box.

With the boxes I couldn't salvage I put them into recycling box.
With the games I went and got snap lock bags and placed the contents of the game into them.
A bag each for the monopoly pieces, one bag for money, houses, chance cards.
I had a spare pink plastic tub (from when I cleaned out the toys in the little girls room) So I placed the games in that with another game, although that box was fine the game has small pieces and fitted into the tub.

I am hoping that this way the pieces aren't all over the place and will not have pieces missing.
Plus it now looks neater!!

I do have to get some heavy duty tape to fix the twister box.
I chose to keep it in the box as it only has two pieces to it and is quite easy to fold and put away.
