Now that Christmas is over with and packed away.
I can tackle all the school stuff that the three primary school students bought home!!!!!!!!
My kids tend to bring it all home of the last day of school, so I ask them to empty their bags of lunch boxes and to place all the stuff in their school bags.
I sit down at the craft table and do one kid at a time....if that child wants to sit with me and look over their work with me, I find the younger ones are more than happy to do this.
After I have looked through the books, I rip out any pages that have been used and place the book to the side.
If the book is completely used it goes in a pile on the floor, ready for the bin.
If there are any bits of work that you want to keep, then pop into a display folder and mark which child and year on the front.
My school used to send a folder like this with work that the child had done throughout the year. This is the first time that they hadn't done it.
With all pencil's, crayons, textas, rulers etc. I place them into a folder that came from school, it also has their name on it, and place into their craft box.
I then wash the school bags and place them back into the lockers all ready for the school year.
